As a young girl, I became obsessed with Greek mythology. Whether reading hours and hours about the Gods or playing Age of Mythology for days on end, I could never get enough. The history of Greece and its wonders constantly enchanted my imagination. The Theatre of Dionysus, the Parthenon, the Temple of Zeus. I had studied Greek architecture for years and yet I could not really grasp that these marvels could truly exist. So you could imagine my euphoria when I climbed to the top of Mount Lycabettus, overlooking the illustrious Acropolis, and stood witness to the glory of Athens. Like a goddess atop Olympus.
